The restoration of the ex Motofides area is carried out with the masterplan of an harbour, located on the last portion of the left bank of the mouth of the Arno river, between the sea and the town of Marina di Pisa, has a high potential in terms of landscape aesthetics and improvement of environmental quality. The site is also located between the San Rossore and Tombolo estates, both belonging to the Regional Park. Ecosystems of great interest like those of San Rossore’s and Arno’s demand a project for the marina based on environmental sustainability.
