Within the historic park of the Poggio Imperiale Villa (Medici Villa and UNESCO heritage), the need of trees maintenance has lead to a project aimed to guarantee the free use of all open spaces. Particularly, the grove of evergreen oaks suffers of aging, parasite attack, drought and freeze stresses, which produced serious damage to the trees. Trees maintenance and renovation were therefore mandatory to guarantee the safety of the scholars.
